ISRO launched its spy satellite RISAT-2BR1 with PSLC-C48

RISAT-2BR1   India launched its latest spy satellite, RISAT-2BR1, and nine foreign satellites through the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C48).   It aims to provide all-weather surveillance using synthetic aperture radars (SARs). The RISAT is used for border surveillance, to deter terrorist infiltration and for anti-terrorist operations as well.
